Greg Paraskos, Principal Engineer
Greg has spent his career as a mechanical engineer working on a wide array of products including consumer electronics, wind turbines, compressors and robotics. No matter what Greg is working on he believes in diving deep on the design requirements and letting them drive the form of the part. Greg has extensive experience using Finite Element Analysis software packages including Solidworks Simulation and Ansys Workbench. Greg can also script in Ansys APDL (Ansys Classic) when problems become more complex.
Greg’s analysis skills are valuable, but when combined with his expert CAD skills and love of collaboration they can truly transform a project. Following a brainstorming session with a design team, Greg can quickly generate many valuable design iterations in rapid succession. These iterations are informed by finite element analyses and result in the design reaching maturity in a much shorter period of time. With the major design hurtles out of the way, the design team can spend more time refining the design and less time reacting to problems.
